Kaizen PLM, a leader in additive manufacturing and medical device solutions, collaborated with Seco Tools and Additure/Nikon SLM Solutions to develop a cutting-edge, end-to-end digital manufacturing strategy for femoral implants. By leveraging Siemens NX and Simcenter 3D, Kaizen streamlined the entire workflow from design to CNC machining, additive manufacturing, and simulation, demonstrating a fully integrated and efficient process.

Kaizen PLM, alongside our partners at Digital Manufacturing Centre (DMC), Siemens Digital Industries Software, and Babcock (Marine sector) recently competed in the Ministry of Defence (MOD) Additive Manufacturing Hackathon. Up against 10 other teams, we had just 28 hours to reverse engineer, redesign, optimise, and remanufacture critical MOD components—all while improving weight, cost, and performance.

Kaizen PLM supported the deployment of advanced robotic platforms for welding, inspection and additive manufacturing of metal components, specifically for the nuclear sector and other quality-critical industries.
